Essential Duties:
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Ag Equipment Technician with experience or an interest in growing there career to specialize in providing guidance, expertise, and training for the sale and support of solutions enabled by the Case IH AFS and other 3rd party Precision Ag solutions. As well as ensure ongoing Precision Ag mainstreaming and partner with all departments within the dealership to sell and support precision farming products and services.
In this role you will:
Help execute the plan to ensure ongoing precision farming mainstreaming across all departments at the dealership
Serve as a technical specialist relative to all precision farming products offered and supported by the dealership
Attend dealership sales meetings to give regular updates on the status of marketing plans, product changes, and/or customer issues
Participate in the adoption of new technology and product offerings
Work regularly with salesmen to develop potential client improvements per specific farming operation
Promote and support mycaseih.com, utilizing wireless data and data management within the Connect Account
Help support business consulting and data management services to customers
Develop and deliver internal and external training for precision farming products
Develop and deliver employee and customer training for Case IH data/technology solutions and advanced farming solution options
Assist and promote 3rd party training/support for data management and software solutions
Provide on-farm auto guidance training and calibration services
Provide technical assistance for machine-down issues like identifying the root cause of customer issues and identifying failed components
Provide Follow-up After the Sale for all AFS components
Support and performs OEM and 3rdparty auto guidance installations
Education and Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Education and experience in Agronomy knowledge preferred
Dealership sales, service, training, or other related work experience preferred
Knowledge of Data Management (IT) and wireless communication systems is preferred
Knowledge of database software and computer application systems
Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and Internet functions
Solid organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to operate with a solutions approach and identify existing/emerging customer needs
Ability to work flexible hours and travel to store/customer locations within seasonal peak times
Valid drivers license and insurable (no more than two minor moving violations in a three year period) are required
Physical Requirements:
Extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching overhead. Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. without assistance regularly. The position also requires grasping with both hands, pushing and pulling, working around moving machinery, driving a vehicle, extensive hours on a computer, hearing normal tones, speaking, and seeing.

Schedule:
8-Hour shift, Monday thru Friday
During peak season, may need to perform duties outside of regular business hours
Work Location:
This is not a remote position. Requires to be in person at the dealerships and at the customer location, as needed
