BASF’s Professional Development Programs (PDPs) were created to provide highly motivated, mobile-minded current university students an opportunity to enhance their professional skills through a variety of diverse learning experiences. Participants will contribute to real-world rotational assignments within different domestic locations. They will explore career options and develop technical and professional decision-making skills, while fulfilling specific business needs. Participants also have the opportunity to assess their capabilities, skills, and interests and gain valuable exposure to BASF’s culture, values, and decision-makers.

Program Summary:
As a highly motivated upcoming graduate, you will participate in an 18+ month cross-functional program with two rotations, one 9-month assignment in marketing working in Raleigh, NC: and a 9 12-month assignment in sales working in field sales. Successfully engaging across the business throughout your rotations will expand your network, allow you to grow personally and professionally, and learn a variety of valuable skill sets Participants will have the opportunity to assess their capabilities, skills, and interests and gain valuable exposure to BASF’s culture, values, and decision-makers. Assignments can be located in a variety of locations throughout the U.S Upon successful completion of the program, participants will have the opportunity to join our Talent Pipeline for a role in field agronomic solutions sales.

Formula for Success:
Qualifications – BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent.
Seniors or recent graduates with a bachelors degree in Agricultural Sales, Agribusiness, Marketing, Agronomy, Plant Science, or related business or environmental sciences field
Graduation date must fall between May 2023 June 2024.
Authorization to work in the U.S. now and in the future without restrictions or future sponsorship
Demonstrated leadership and academic achievement
Active participation in extracurricular activities and on-campus organizations. Previous internship/co-op experience a plus.
A commitment to relocate anywhere in the U.S during and upon place-off from the program
A valid driver’s license
