Role Overview
A long-standing Agricultural Input Provider who has a proud history of servicing Forage Growers in a multi-state area is looking for Business Development Manager to cover the state of Wisconsin and surrounding areas. The position will work with existing customers & prospects to advance our Inoculant Portfolio and meet sales targets. This opportunity is unique as it provides a competitive Base Salary, Bonuses and potentially an equity opportunity for the right individual in the future.
The ideal location to reside would be in Southwest Wisconsin or near the River Falls, WI area. Travel would be primarily day trips but some overnights would be required.
Responsibilities for Sales Representative:
Develop Relationships with existing clients to maintain/grow Sales
Develop and implement territory growth and product expansion strategies
Prospect and qualify new sales leads within existing and new territories
Ensure distribution partners & customers are knowledgeable about our products and capabilities
Achieve or exceed sales, profit, and market share targets
Coordinate with other team members to optimize the sales effort and customer service
Service equipment related to Inoculant Applications
Qualifications for Sales Representative:
Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Business, or other Agricultural Related fields
Ideally, 5+ years of sales of experience within the Agriculture or Dairy industry
Experienced in developing and managing customer relationships
Customer centric with excellent interpersonal skills
Entrepreneurial mindset
Ability to pass driving record background check (i.e. moving violations, accidents, license suspensions, etc.)
Salary and Bonus would be commensurate with experience.
Job Type: Full Time
Pay: $45,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
