Job Description
Bayland Buildings is actively seeking an Agricultural Service Technician to lead and work directly with Project Managers and/or Superintendents. This position includes Full Time employment, competitive compensation and benefits, and an opportunity to be part of our employee-owned company!
Core Responsibilities:
Responsible to perform work and Supervisory duties on small to midsized T&M, service orientated, or repair projects in an agricultural setting
Assist Project Managers in the assembly and direction of the field operations including:
In-house crew resources
Equipment
SubSeasonalors
Responsible for all proper field documentation, record keeping and time management
Work closely with Superintendents for all field operations
Work in a fast-paced environment
Work outdoors in variable weather conditions
Knowledge of and adherence to proper safety protocols is necessary
Key Qualifications:
A successful candidate will be well versed in verbal and written communications, & Microsoft Office software at a minimum
Candidate should have familiarity with construction terminology and documentation
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Project Coordination, Supervisory, Foreman, or related field in an agricultural setting
Willingness to travel
Ability to perform physical labor
Ability to use hand/power tools and equipment
Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions
Must have skills to multi-task and meet deadlines
Committed to keeping a safe work environment
Occasional travel may be required with this position dependent on Project location. Bayland will provide continued education and safety training required for the position.
