Gpac is partnered with a regional Ag-Retailer that offers agronomy services to farmers across the southeast that is looking to add an Agronomist at one of their locations in Eastern North Carolina.
This right candidate will learn the agronomy retail business, with the opportunity to step into sales within the next 2-3 years. You will split your time between agronomist duties, facility operations and riding along with established agronomy sales professionals.

Responsibilities:
Agronomist: crop scout, soil sample, etc.
Assist in facility operations: blend fertilizer & chemical, make deliveries to customers, general operations work, etc.
Ride along with an established agronomy salesperson to meet current and future customers
Experience:
Bachelor’s or Associates degree: Crop Science, Plant Science, Agronomy, OR related degree
MUST have prior agronomy knowledge; either from internships or farming
Agronomy Internships or 1-2 years of agronomy experience
Crop scouting, soil sampling, farm operation experience
Compensation:
$40,000-$55,000 base salary
