AGRONOMY SEED HUB MANAGER
Status: Full Time/ Exempt
Reports to: Region Director
Summary: Provides operational support and leadership to the hub location to attain maximum efficiency in daily hub responsibilities while ensuring that the highest level of customer service is provided profitably. Requirements:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Oversee daily plant responsibilities, including but not limited to inventory management, order fulfillment and operational tasks.
Be self-motivated to gain and demonstrate knowledge of products, services and technologies.
Responsible for daily communication with the Seed and CPP Director on strategies and operational information.
Fulfill customer orders promptly, accurately and professionally, using team resources and assets efficiently.
Create professional environment, including strict adherence to standards for maintaining a clean facility, orderly office, accurate documentation system and appropriate appearance of Ceres Solutions personnel on site.
Perform or oversee regular maintenance on seed handling equipment and fleet.
Prepare reports as requested documenting volume, potential sales and expansions.
Perform all responsibilities safely and in compliance with environmental stewardship regulations.
Maintain facility and equipment for professional appearance and good working order.
Must possess exceptional interpersonal skills, high energy, initiative, persistence and leadership qualities.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This job has supervisory responsibilities over seed hub personnel.
Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence, effectively present information and respond to questions.
Mathematical Skills and Reasoning
Significant logic and math skills, including ability to calculate discounts, interest, percentages, area and circumference. percentages, area, and volume. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Valid driver’s license. Proficiency in accounting and industry software or possess ability to learn. Obtain CDL as required with endorsements, within 90 days of employment.
Other Skills and Abilities
Knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft Office software, and some proprietary ag-based software.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
