Animal Caretaker in Leesville, SC

Job Overview
Cotton Branch is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Animal Caregiver to join our team. The Caregiver will be responsible for the daily care of our animals, ensuring their well-being and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Duties
– Feeding: Prepare and distribute food to the animals according to their specific dietary needs.

– Watering: Ensure all animals have constant access to fresh & clean water.

– Debris/Waste Removal: Maintain clean living areas by removing waste and debris regularly.

– Monitoring Health: Observe animals for signs of illness or distress and report any concerns to the sanctuary management.

– General Care: Provide general care and attention to the animals, including occasional grooming and administering medications as needed.

– Facility Maintenance: Assist in the general upkeep of the sanctuary, including minor repairs and maintenance tasks.

Skills
– Experience working with animals is required.

– Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

– Ability to work in all weather conditions. This includes extreme heat and cold.

– Reliable mode of transportation and punctual with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Required Hours (Non-Negotiable)

Monday & Tuesday | 8 AM – 7 PM (1 Hour Lunch Break)

Thursday & Friday | 8 AM – 7 PM (1 Hour Lunch Break)
