Job Summary
The incumbent teaches udergraduate and graduate courses in Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness Management, conducts research and contributes to outreach.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; ability to motivate students; excellent team-work skills required.
In-depth knowledge of agricultural economics and agribusiness

Essential Job Functions
Conducts a requisite number of classes; teaches assigned subject
Provides guidance and supervision to students
Creates and maintains an environment conducive to excellence in teaching, learning and research
Preparation and formulation of curricula focused on his/her subject(s)
Participates in departmental meetings and holds scheduled office hours
Maintains equipment in the laboratory, makes arrangements for laboratory practical sessions, and provides materials to students
Provides academic support to other faculty members
Serves on departmental, school and university committees, as assigned.
Qualifications
Doctor of Philosophy in Agricultural Economics, Applied Economics, or Economics with background in Agriculture or Agribusiness.
