Agricultural Sciences at Morehead State University is accepting applications for a Full Time position as an Assistant Professor, Agriculture Education. The anticipated start date is January 2, 2024.

RESPONSIBILITIES
: Duties will include, but are not limited to, teaching college classes in their area of training, recruitment activities during the summer at various events consistent with the expectations of building a successful program. Development of training for agriculture teachers, extension agents (4-H and Ag), and members of the public in areas related to education and program development depending on specific training and experience.
REQUIREMENTS
: Doctorate in agriculture education, or a closely related agriculture field from a regionally accredited university. Two years of experience teaching agriculture education in a high school or middle school setting. A valid KY drivers license and reside within the service region for service activities. Good written and verbal communication skills. Some travel is required to FFA events.
PREFERRED
QUALIFICATIONS
: Managing a successful FFA chapter at a school and associated activities. Work with regional and state level Agriculture Education and FFA activities and events. Experience in grant writing and management of grants.
