Assistant to Ranch Manager needed in Lead, SD
Under the direction of the Residential Ranch Manager, the Employee will be responsible for upkeep of a private residence, adjacent facilities, and surrounding land ensuring that the properties are always maintained to the highest possible standards and operating conditions. This employee will provide high level support, including the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Employment will be “at will.” The Property and Grounds Employee is a Full Time position. Schedule requires Tuesday-Friday 7am-4pm with occasional weekends and evenings as needed.
DUTIES OF EMPLOYEE (shall include but not be limited to):

Outdoor Maintenance: including cleaning and maintaining outdoor living areas, exterior lighting, care of plants and trees, mowing, edging, and keeping all applicable areas clear of snow in winter.
Pool operation and maintenance: including start up in spring and winterizing prior to winter. Daily maintenance including skimming off leaves and debris, vacuuming and any other regular maintenance.
Home Interior: perform work as assigned by the Residential Ranch Manager including replacing light bulbs, general maintenance, and assisting with upkeep as needed.
Motor pool: Clean, maintain, and assist with servicing motor vehicles, including filling gas tanks.
Deliveries: Run errands and accept deliveries as assigned.
Communication: Promptly and proactively communicate with the Residential Ranch Manager during emergencies, including severe weather events, and all matters involving security and safety at the property.
Carry out any other duties as directed by the Employer.

Must possess a valid Class C driver’s license

Physical Requirements:
This position is physically demanding. To successfully perform the essential functions of this job, the employee must be able to regularly walk, stand, kneel, bend, stretch, and twist. Employee must be able to lift or move more than 50 pounds.
