• Position Summary

Tomten Farm and Sanctuary in Haverhill, NH is looking for a part-time team member with a can-do attitude and a strong work ethic. We are seeking a positive, mature and motivated individual who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail and is not only at ease, but truly enjoys working around a variety of animals. Duties include but are not limited to stuffing hay bags, cleaning stalls, picking turnouts, weed wacking, filling waters, brush pick up and more.

Responsibilities

This is not a riding, training, or handling position. It is a real farm job and requires a committed individual who is physically able to be on their feet for multiple hours, can lift 50#’s, and work beside us inside and out in all seasons and weather conditions. Prior animal experience is not necessary but applicant must be reliable, honest, have a positive attitude, be willing to learn our animal-centric methods and be committed to maintaining our drama-free work environment.

Benefits/Salary Information

Hours, schedule and pay are flexible and negotiable for the right person so if you prefer mornings or afternoons, weekdays or weekends we are open for discussion.
