Your Role: Beef Territory Account Manager, US Farm Animal
As a Beef Territory Account Manager, you’ll create demand and secure sales by delivering and demonstrating the value of Elanco Animal Health products to direct customers and influencers. As a Territory Account Manager, you’ll manage the territory through a yearly action plan, account plans, expense management, and appropriate communications consistent with Elanco’s business unit marketing and sales objectives. The sales territory consists of Beef customers, veterinarians, nutritionists, feed companies, and distribution contacts. A minimum of two years in this position is appropriate.
Your Responsibilities:

Understand customer needs to provide solutions/value via Elanco products
Territory planning and analysis including account planning and budget management
Ability to work cross-functionally across teams with strong communication skills internally & externally
Advance business opportunities for customers and Elanco
Understand/learn complex customers/influencers within the beef industry and food chain
A clear understanding of products, services, and industry
Constantly curious and aware of learning opportunities
Data-driven, constantly benchmarking and understanding customer needs
Active listing and can-do attitude to drive results
Customer-centric and socially aware of key stakeholders
Open to technology and experimentation in new areas of development to advance the customer

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, agriculture or agricultural-related field
Required Experience: 3+ years of experience and knowledge of the beef industry
Previous experience with Veterinary and/or Nutritional professions/industry
Previous sales experience with the beef industry experience
Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States.

A very strong passion for animal agriculture and the beef business

Additional Information:

Travel: This territory will require extensive travel, approximately 2-3 nights per week
Location: North Dakota and South Dakota
