Corteva Agriscience, Rushville Production Facility is hiring for Corn Sorters for our upcoming harvest season. This is a temporary position that will start around the first of September and potentially last through the end of October. Responsibilities include overseeing corn sorting at individual sorting conveyers. Sorters will play a large role in the dehusking process by determining good versus bad quality corn, distinguish defects and appropriately remove product from conveyor belts.
Oversee corn sorting at individual sorting conveyers. Pick apart good versus bad quality corn on the cob. Distinguish defects and remove product from conveyer belts.
- Incentives: They will be eligible for a $500 end of harvest attendance bonus
- Weekly Schedule: Harvest hours run Monday -Sunday 6:30am to approximately 6:30pm – No Shift work for this role
- Schedule will be provided by Supervisors. They will get at least 1 day off per week. (Could possibly be limited to 40 hours IF a full team gets hired).

Notes:
- Long periods of standing or sitting (some stools provided)
- Climate controlled environment
- Loud – would need ear protection
- Spanish speaking workers okay to hire.
• Dress Code:
-Must have closed toe shoes. Steel to/composite toe are not requirement
-Long pants (no capri’s)
-Short sleeve shirts are fine.
• PPE:
-Side shields will be given for prescription glasses.
-Gloves and regular safety glasses will be provided.

Pay: $15.89 per hour
