Part Time CTE Agricultural Education Supervisor in Bismarck, ND
Job Description
Summary of Work
As an Agricultural Education Supervisor, you will join in providing leadership and operational support to the Department of CTE and the ND FFA Association. To do this, you will provide leadership and technical assistance for instructors in the secondary, postsecondary, farm management education program areas, and assist with the student organization, FFA. You will provide technical assistance to schools to ensure quality programs. You will partner with business and industry partners to align program standards and advocate CTE. You will work with a team in conducting professional development workshops and conferences.
To thrive in this position, you must have strong communication skills, the ability to multitask and be organized, reliable and professional in a changing work environment.
This position does require travel both in-state and out-of-state.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Education and five years of administrative, program development or teaching experience. Possession of a valid North Dakota Agricultural Education professional teaching license.
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. The Department of Career and Technical Education does not provide sponsorships. Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to travel in and out of the state. Applicant must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds unassisted.
