Dairy Milker in Winnebago, IL

Position Available: 3rd Shift Milker

Mitchell Dairy and Grain LLC is seeking a knowledgeable & hard worker to assist in milking and scraping. We are a 400- cow, registered Holstein, family owned, and operated dairy farm located in Winnebago, Illinois.

The Milker will be responsible for:

• Milking all 400 cows
• Setting up the parlor and milk house for milking
• Cleaning free stall beds
• Scraping/cleaning pens
• Cleaning parlor after every milking

Hours and Pay

• Monday-Wednesday and Friday-Sunday starting at 8:45 pm
• 40-45 hours per week (Shifts are approximately 7 hours)
• $13/hour or more based on experience
• $2/hour shift differential for whole shift

Minimum Job requirements

• Previous use of a skid loader (preferred but not required, willing to train the right person)
• Previous experience milking cows for at least a year or more (preferred but not required)
• Driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Preferable skills – attention to detail and willing to be flexible

Job Type: Full-time
