About the Role:
Reporting to the CEO, the Director of Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, loyalty and revenue growth. The person in this role will lead the companys marketing efforts and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure all marketing activities align with overall business objectives. This role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, creative vision, and data-driven decision-making to achieve exceptional results in a competitive market.
What Youll Do:
Develop and implement the company’s overall marketing strategy and annual marketing plan to drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth;
Foster a collaborative and high-performance marketing culture;
Create and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, including, for example, digital marketing, social media, email marketing, content marketing, influencer partnerships, and offline initiatives;
Define and monitor KPIs to assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives, providing regular reports and insights to peers and leadership;
Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer insights, market trends, and competitive landscape, translating findings into actionable strategies;
Collaborate with peers and leadership to identify market opportunities, optimize product positioning, and develop compelling value propositions;
Oversee the company’s brand identity and messaging, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels and touchpoints;
Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and partners, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines;
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging marketing technologies, and best practices, incorporating innovative approaches into the marketing strategy; and
Collaborate closely with the sales team to align marketing efforts with sales objectives, providing support for lead generation and conversion.
What You Should Have:
Advanced degree in marketing or a related field;
5+ years in a senior marketing role within a direct-to-consumer company, preferably in a fast-paced and high-growth environment;
Demonstrated success in developing and executing integrated marketing strategies that drive customer acquisition, loyalty, revenue growth, and brand awareness;
Demonstrated corporate leadership success and proven business acumen with progressively more responsibility;
Expertise in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media advertising, email marketing, content marketing, and marketing automation;
Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights, leveraging marketing analytics tools and metrics;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels;
Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling;
Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment; and
Deep familiarity with direct-to-consumer business models and e-commerce platforms.
Salary:
