OVERVIEW ::
Responsible for unloading eggs from trucks, organizing the buggies and setting the eggs into incubator rooms.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS ::
Helps unload egg buggies from delivery trucks.
Organizes buggies according to flock numbers.
Sets eggs according to set list times by transferring egg flats from buggies into incubator rooms.
Cleans up work areas after sets are complete.
Ensures hatchery is secure and contacts proper personnel is contacted in the event of any alarms.
Adheres to all safety requirements including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), preventing, and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, Lockout-Tagout procedures, and Process Safety Management related matters.
Maintains a clean and safe working environment.
Participates in Company and department safety programs.
All other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS ::
At least 18 years of age.
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Ability to work with others in a close environment.
Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality.
Ability to work quickly and multitask.
Use personal protective equipment as required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS ::

Exposed to temperatures up to 105 degrees Fahrenheit and humidity up to 100%.
Possible exposure to chemicals and vaccines to be covered in MSDS training and hazardous communications.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. to a height of 6 feet and push wheeled egg tray carts weighing up to 850 pounds.
Must be able to work in a wet, damp, dusty (chick down) environment.
Must be able to use broom, shovel, mop, and scrub brushes.
Frequent stooping and kneeling.
