Position Title

Extension Program Leader for Agriculture and Natural Resources

Job Summary

Provides leadership within planning, monitoring and evaluation of Extension and related programs in Agricultural and Natural Resources

Essential Job Duties

Provides information and support to faculty, resource specialists and agents as relates to
Extension program development, implementation and assessment in Agricultural and Natural Resources
Collects and assists in storing, sharing and submission of all Extension program data for Agricultural and Natural Resources and information to selected Tuskegee University, State and USDA NIFA online templates
Extracts information from various sources and communicates to internal and external audiences the impact/value of CAENS, TU Cooperative Extension and where appropriate AL Cooperative Extension
Provides technical assistance to CAENS and Cooperative Extension colleagues in program design, logic model development; curriculum research/development; Extension publication/fact sheet generation; evaluation planning and design; and data collection and analysis methods.
Assist in developing and providing various professional development experiences (i.e., New Extension professional orientation, core training, and in-service trainings) in Agricultural and Natural Resources.
Cooperates with CAENS/Extension personnel to develop strong, integrated programs in Agricultural and Natural Resources.
Other duties as assigned by the 1890 Extension Administrator

Qualifications (Education, Experience and Specialized Training)

Master’s degree in agriculture, environmental science, or food science/education closely related field is required
10+ years of relevant experience.
