Farm and Ranch Hand/Laborer in Ford, KS

ELLIS FARMS is looking for a Farm Hand/Ranch Hand to join our team! This is a great opportunity to work on a farm/ranch and help us with our growing operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the cultivation of plants, including but not limited to: planting, harvesting, weeding, and watering
• Work with animals including: cattle
• Cleaning and maintenance of farm equipment- Newer John Deere Equipment
• Family farm/ranch including dryland, irrigated, and cattle operations
• Work on a farm is not only a full time position but also an integral part of the farm experience!

Experience: 1 year working in agriculture preferred

Education: High school diploma or GED preferred

Work Schedule: Depends on time of year. Spring planting, summer wheat harvest & field work will be busy. Weekends will depend on how busy we are. Winter time will be slower with mainly just cattle work.

Pay: Based on experience. We are willing to train the right candidate!

Housing provided/available along with work vehicle provided, and any necessary tools for the job

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 – $20.00 per hour
