Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of Crop production on 9000 crop acres with collaboration from ownership and crop consultants from seed selection to harvest

Manage employee performance by providing resources, training, feedback and development opportunities

Provide leadership

Develop strict but fair schedules that allow for work life balance

Help to problem solve operational challenges while maintaining open two-way communication with other managers and owners

Coordinate activities, prioritize tasks and ensure the operation runs efficiently for your team

Operate an arsenal of equipment involved in the planting and harvesting of row crops and silage

Required Qualifications

5 or more years of work experience in crop production

Preferred Qualifications

A passion for working with and developing a team that comes together to get the work done efficiently but also allow for work life balance

Computer Skills

A passion for new technology

Experience leading a team

Enthusiasm for and a knowledge of crop production agronomics and equipment

Must be able to operate a variety of farm and field equipment

As a Team Manager , you’re responsible for building and maintaining exceptional work relationships. You’ll be responsible for the growth and development of your teams, driving team performance, and acting as an escalation point for issues and resolving challenges that may arise. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
