Job Description

SPF Partnership, located just East of Fort Wayne, Indiana, is a progressive, large, grain crop operation that uses some of the newest technologies and practices available to Agriculture. We take great pride in the quality of work we do, our team and our equipment.
We are looking to hire a full-time Farm Equipment Operator to join our team at our Woodburn, IN location. This individual will be operating tractors, excavating equipment, sprayers and other heavy equipment as well as support a variety of tasks on the farm such as light maintenance, technology use and grain handling.

Compensation will be highly dependent on the candidate’s abilities. We offer retirement package and paid time off.

The duties of the position will include but not limited to:
Operate Equipment including excavating, tillage, planters, sprayers, nutrient application liquid and dry, and harvesting equipment.
Utilize the latest technology in farming practices including Variable Rate Technology on every trip across our farm.
Perform light maintenance of equipment including oil changes, changing wear points, light welding, and working on implements.
Maintain clean working area in shop, on grounds and in tractors.
Assist in working in and around grain bins.

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate has experience operating heavy equipment in the agriculture, farming, construction, military, excavation, or other related field.
We are looking for a team-player with a positive attitude that pays attention to the details.
General mechanic skills and light welding/fabrication.
Strong computer skills with ability to work with changing technology.
Ability to work extended hours and some Saturdays in the busy season.
Valid Driver’s License and willingness to obtain a Class A CDL.
All applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
