Farm Equipment Operator in Yadkinville, NC

Welcome to Matthews Family Farms of North Carolina! We manage 5,500 acres of row-crops including corn, soybeans, wheat and barley. We have two shop locations with the main shop located in Northern North Carolina. We also install and maintain our own sub-surface drip irrigation systems and center pivot. We are hiring a Farm Equipment Operator to join our team in Yadkinville, North Carolina (about 25 miles west of Winston-Salem). In this role you will be responsible for operating farm machinery such as sprayers, combines, and spreaders.

What you will be doing:
Operating Hagie and New Holland Sprayer, John Deere S Series combine with draper head and corn head, and spreading equipment.
Assist with maintenance of farm equipment.
Maintain and install center pivots/sub surface drip irrigation when needed.
Be an all-around team player and assist where needed.

This job is for you if you have:
At least 2 years of agricultural equipment operating experience.
Basic understanding of John Deere, AgLeader, and Raven software operating systems.
Prior truck driving experience (18 and 10 wheelers)
Detail oriented with ability to work in a team environment.
Willingness to work long hours during peak season.
