Farm Hand in Royse City, TX

Looking to hire a Farm hand. We have 1 Monday through Friday daytime position and some holidays and 1 part-time, daytime weekend position. Please indicate which position you are applying for. MUST be able to show up by 8AM to start working. Full time available. Ag experience preferred but not required. You will be working with small animals and performing various farm tasks. Day to day tasks vary but the core responsibilities stay the same each day.
$15/hour with paid training. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Work is split between indoor and outdoor tasks. Must be a reliable team member capable of working independently, work as a team player and be a hard worker.

Position is a 1099 position.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Farm Hand to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and a desire to provide a safe and comfortable environment for pets in our facility. Must be a hard worker, not afraid to get dirty as we work rain or shine, be a reliable and a team player with a positive attitude. Please note this is NOT a rescue and includes a boarding & training facility as well as raising small animals.

Responsibilities:
– Feed, water, and provide proper care for animals in the kennel
– Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and common areas
– Walk dogs and provide exercise and socialization
– Monitor animals for any signs of illness or distress

Skills:
– Experience in dog handling and animal care
– Knowledge of veterinary practices is a plus
– Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary
– Strong team work and reliability a must
– Previous experience in a kennel, or agricultural setting is preferred
