Farm Hand/Laborer in Argyle, NY

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Farm Hand. As a Farm Hand, you will assist in various tasks related to animal care, heavy equipment operation, and general farm maintenance. This is a hands-on role that requires physical strength and the ability to work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities:

– Assist with animal care, including feeding, milking,and cleaning barns

– Perform heavy lifting tasks, such as moving feed bags and equipment

– Operate heavy equipment, such as tractors and loaders, for farm maintenance and field work

– Utilize hand tools for various farm tasks, including fencing repairs and equipment maintenance.

Skills:

– Strong animal handling skills

– Ability to perform heavy lifting on a regular basis

– Knowledge of animal care practices and procedures

– Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as loaders, tractors, skidsteers etc.

– Ability to work independently and follow instructions

This is a physically demanding role that requires working outdoors in various weather conditions. The successful candidate must be reliable, self-motivated, and able to work well with others.

Please note that all positions at our farm are paid positions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 – $16.00 per hour
