Gpac is partnered with a private farming operation that is looking to hire a Farm Manager to their company. As the Farm Manager you will be responsible for managing the farm operations staff and overseeing the day-to-day field operations.
As Farm Manager you must be willing to work alongside in the completion of tasks critical to the success of the farm.
Experience Needed:
2-5+ years of farm management experience
Crop Science, Agronomy or ag related education is highly preferred
Farm equipment operation experience required
Mechanical knowledge of farm equipment
Experience being a hands on farm manager
Responsibilities:
Manage a crew of 8-10 farm operators
Day-to-day management of field operations
Manage field operations schedules
Assist in the ordering of crop inputs, equipment parts and other items crucial to the success of the farming operations
Compensation/Benefits:
$65,000-$100,000 base salary, DOE
