Farm Mechanic in Junction City, OR

Job Description

Must have a good general knowledge of farm equipment and how it operates. Duties will include daily servicing and maintenance, seasonal rebuilds ,welding, fabrication, and occasional equipment operation during peak harvest times.

Must be proficient with diesel engines/transmissions, hydraulic systems, pneumatic/air systems and have a good understanding of automotive/equipment electronics. Types of equipment that would be worked on:

• Combines
• Windrowers
• Tractors
• Trucks
• Forage chopper
• Hazelnut harvest equipment
• Ground working equipment
• Fertilizer/spray equipment
• Dairy feed equipment/loaders
• Pickups
• Small engines/chainsaws
• Irrigation systems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $72,000.00 per year

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Weekend availability

• Junction City, OR 97448: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Mechanical knowledge: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver’s License (Required)
