Farm Operator & Worker in Felton, DE

Pries Farms is a potato and grain farm in central Delaware. We are seeking a full-time farm worker. Field work would be based on experience and would include working ground, planting, spraying, and harvesting for grain and potato equipment.

Knowledge of GPS systems is a plus. Other job duties would include irrigation, forklift operation, backhoe operation, mowing, driving trucks, pressure washing, etc. Experience operating and maintaining irrigation equipment is a plus. Having a CDL is preferred. We are offering a competitive salary package based on experience and ability.

Applicants must be dependable, able to work independently on tasks, and troubleshoot. The must also have transportation to and from work. The farm operates Monday through Friday. Later evenings and on weekends during busy seasons.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• 2-3 years of experience is required
• Trade school or other training is a plus
• Drivers license and clean driving record is required (CDL is a preferred)
• Welding skills are a plus
• Mechanical and/or electrical skills a plus
• Candidates must pass background check
