Job Duties
Position supervises, directs and monitors all aspects fo the farm operations at Southampton Agribusiness. Provides supervision and direction to all farm staff and schedules work activities. Ensures row crop, livestock, flash freeze and all other farm related operational needs are met.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Valid Driver’s License. Working experience involving large farm, agricultural and/or research operations involving livestock and field crops. Equivalent combination of training and experience indicating possession of the preceding knowledge and abilities. Considerable knowledge of farming and/or agricultural operations and procedures. Working knowledge all types of farming equipment, machinery, animal husbandry, livestock production and management and field crop production, livestock and farm equipment. Demonstrated skills in operation, utilizing and repairing all types of farm, agricultural research equipment, machinery and tools. Demonstrated ability to manage and direct agricultural and farming operations.
