Full Time Farm Support Work in Penryn, CA

Job Overview:

We are seeking a hardworking and enthusiastic individual to join our farm team as a Farm Support Worker, with accommodation included. This role is perfect for those who enjoy working outdoors and are passionate about farming and animal care. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with various farm tasks and providing support to our team. In return, we offer comfortable and convenient on-site accommodation. There’s additional work to earn wages too!

Responsibilities:

– Assist with garden and orchard maintenance, including watering and pruning
– Operate farm landscaping tools
– Provide care and handling for animals, including chickens, horses, dogs, and other livestock
– Perform animal husbandry tasks, such as feeding and cleaning stalls
– Irrigate crops and maintain the farm’s irrigation system
– Lift heavy objects and materials as needed
– Assist with farm-related activities, including harvesting and planting
– Assist customers with sales and fruit order request
– Work collaboratively with the farm team to achieve daily goals and objectives

Experience:

– Previous experience working on a farm or in an agricultural setting is essential
– Experience with animal handling and husbandry is necessary
– Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and manual labor
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
– Commitment to working outdoors in a rural setting
– Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced farmhands

The daily work requires someone to start early in the morning:
from 6:30 am or latest time to start is 8:00 am
The chores for the board trade is about 2.5 hours, 6 days a week

Additional work is available for an hourly wage.
