Our Customer Experience Division is currently seeking a Staff Services Manager I to oversee the hiring, onboarding, development of new contact center agents, and drive our CalPERS mission.

California Public Employees’ Retirement System (CalPERS) seeks a Staff Services Manager I (SSM I), in the Customer Experience Division (CXD), Frontline Agent Readiness and Mentorship (FARM) Team 3. Under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager II (SSM II), the Staff Services Manager I functions as the first level manager over the Frontline Agent Readiness and Mentorship (FARM) Team within the Workforce Strategy and Optimization (WSO) Section, and is responsible for the overall oversight, management, and daily operations of the unit while staying organized with the ability to function in a fast paced environment, set priorities, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines within challenging and strict time constraints. The Staff Services Manager I responsibilities include personnel management with respect to hiring, onboarding, mentoring, training, assignments, employee performance, employee recognition, and other related areas of supervision to ensure a productive and cohesive work environment. The Staff Serivces Manager I should exhibit good judgment in all work-related activities and utilize appropriate skills to recruit and develop talent, enact change management, and perform data and trend analysis.

Pay: $6,563.00 – $8,153.00 per month
