Farm Team Member in Murfreesboro, TN

 Our multi-generational farm is reimagining how small farms sustain and thrive. We are looking for farm team members to collaborate in transforming our 240-acre farm to Regenerative Organic Certified™.

We plan to grow fruits, vegetables, nuts and many more that can support our private and public events. Individuals should be willing to work and eager to learn.

Essential Functions:

• Operate General farm equipment
• Ability to perform manual labor
• Physical stamina, including ability to repeatedly lift 50 pounds
• Desire to research and adopt innovative and regenerative farming practices

Physical Effort

• Operating heavy machinery: skid steer, 4020 tractor, zero turn mower, etc.
• Lifting bags of crop seed or animal feed
• Digging plants or bushes
• Chainsawing trees or brush
• Harvesting crops: blueberries, apples, etc.
• Tending to daily chores including on the farm, in greenhouses, etc.

Other Functions:

• Report to ag manager daily on tasks and hours
• Work with the farm team as a team player
• Possibly talk to guests and educate them on farming and regenerative agriculture
• Assisting with maintenance on machinery and facilities
• Assisting with planting and harvesting decisions

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Having any knowledge on working heavy machinery, construction, planting crops, harvesting, etc.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 – $17.00 per hour
