Job Description

This job is on a working horse farm with cattle and goats also on site.


*Must Dependable and have excellent work ethic (references a plus)!

*Must have reliable transportation and valid drivers license

*Must be able to legally work in US. This IS a W-2 employee position. It is NOT a paid “under the table” position.

Some Job Duties include:

*Cleaning stalls daily

*Feeding animals

*Must be comfortable working with livestock (horses, cattle, goats, farmyard animals).

Bonus Qualifications below: (not required, but nice to have)

*Operating tractors and farm equipment

*Fixing fencing, building new fences

*Tractor and equipment maintenance and repair a plus!

*Carpentry skills a huge plus for barn/building repairs!

*Must be able to pass a drug test and be okay with background check

*Farm/animal experience strongly preferred but not necessary if you had carpentry/maintenance/mechanical experience. Of coarse a package deal would be ideal, but willing to separate the work or train to handle animals if needed.

This is not a glory position or a high paying position, but it is steady work, year round. I can be flexible with hours (somewhat) if you have another job/obligations. This farm operates 24/7/365. This job offers a flexible schedule and I will do my best to provide regular schedules that work for both of us. But when emergencies arise, flexibility on your part or working outside of “business hours” may be needed and would be a plus. Overtime availability a plus during Summer.

Pay is $13 hr starting out, with raise after 90 days.
