Seeking a full-time onsite working farm manager to oversee the daily operations of the Norton Family Farms, located in Plattsburg, MO.

Norton Family Farms includes row crop, and livestock (hogs and cattle). While the below reasonability’s are outlined, the most critical experience would be in row crop, with experience operating a combine during harvest season.

Responsibilities Include:

• Work with farm owner on a consistent basis to understand daily tasks to be completed for yourself and staff.
• Preparing plans and schedules for planting and harvesting and ensuring staff understands expectations.
• Must be able to operation combine during harvest and planter, during respective seasons. Experience is preferred in operating this machinery.
• Ensuring seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and other supplies are regularly restocked.
• Scheduling repairs, maintenance, and replacement of equipment and machinery.
• Drive semi-truck as needed during harvest season for grain delivery.

Job Type: Full-time
