General Farm Hand in Johnstown, OH

Hunters Court Farm is hiring a new full time stable hand! Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm. Reliability and a strong work ethic is most important. Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a consistent basis. The job includes doing basic farm chores such as mucking stalls, turning out horses, feeding/watering the horses, sweeping the barn, and other basic barn/cleaning duties. Tractor driving experience is a plus, but not necessary. Must have reliable transportation and be on time.

Experience working with horses is required. Pay is based on experience and determined after the 2 week trial. We start everyone on a paid two week trial to make sure it is a good fit for you, and for us. Please apply if you are interested in starting a two week trial with us!

*Note: we will also hire someone just wanting to work morning hours from 7am-11am or something like that. We can also be flexible with schedules of needing to pick up and drop of kids/etc. Please let me know if you have a preference when applying.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.00 – $15.00 per hour
