Gem State Staffing is seeking workers for a full-time, seasonal position in Kimberly that will last throughout the end of summer. People to assist with seed processing in the seed mills. The work is indoors, will be working with/on equipment and be Lifting requirement is up to 25 lbs., lifting bags/buckets of seed and dumping into seed machines. Some of the machines require the ability to go up and down two steps to dump seed. Need to be accurate and detail oriented as they will be entering data into our computer inventory via excel.
Other Duties will include:
Seed Processing/Seed Mill – Assignment thru December
Marker Sampling- Assignment ongoing, may lead to other greenhouse tasks
Filling Pots/Moving Trays/Working with Bugs – Assignment through November 8th
Requirements:
Must have good attention to detail.
Ability to pass pre-employment drug test.
Ability to work well with others.
Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
Ability to pass pre employment drug and background screenings.
Must be work outside all day, walking on uneven ground, bend and kneel.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to work for extended hours or work days (8-10 hr. shifts).
Must be mindful of all safety practices.
Able to work in all types of weather.
Will need to be able to stand for long periods of time
Communicate with co-workers and follow directions.
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00am to 4:30pm
Pay Wage: $15.00/hour
