For more information, please visit globalorganicsgroup.com. Global Organics Group has a Full Time opening for a Global Regulatory Affairs Manager. The manager is responsible for overseeing regulatory compliance and product registration in US, Mexico, Europe, South America, and Australia. OMRI and CDFA knowledge are a plus. Fluent Spanish speaking is a must.
This position requires working closely with our CEO, COO, Quality, and Science teams. Frequently interacts with international regulators. The regulatory professional must be an organized multitasker able to handle many diverse markets and regulations at once and meet registration deadlines.
Job Duties:

Manage product labeling for compliance with CDFA, OMRI, USDA, and FDA.
Actively participates in inspections from Arizona, OMRI and CDFA/ECOCERT, and leads in the corrective action of any findings.
Prepare, review, and file regulatory documents with US States, International bodies including BCS OKO-GARANTIE, AAFCO (feed) and AAPFCO (plant feed).
Research and make recommendations on regulatory policy.
Support Food Safety (LGMA) requests from customers and their auditors.
Review Technical publications for compliance with allowable claims.
Obtain Regulatory approval to sell products in multiple states and countries.
Maintain and advance our trademark portfolio.
Maintain memberships with various industry related organizations and required certifications.

Qualifications/Skills:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business or environmental science, Client Relationships, or relevant experience can be substituted for education.
Adaptability, Research, Analysis with a manufacturing background.
Proficiency in record keeping and time management.
Communication skills: Requires excellent written and oral communication skills for documentation purposes and office etiquette. Bilingual – Spanish is a must.
Organizational skills: requires the ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines; as well as to organize and maintain data or information.
Ability to learn new manufacturing software tools and proactively use them to manage the business. Must be willing and able to learn through observation and hands on experience.
Ability to maintain integrity and honesty at all times, also possess the ability to communicate with transparency.
Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with manufacturing software and manufacturing concepts.
Have the ability to work in a fast-paced office setting with frequent interruptions.
