Grain Originator in Mineral Point, WI

Premier Cooperative is looking for a Grain Originator to join our team. This position can be at either Mineral Point, Westby, or Mazomanie Wisconsin

Responsibilities:

• Contact producers on a weekly basis.
• Communicate daily bid contracts and closing bids to customers.
• Track customer contacts and keep record of available bushels to purchase.
• Communicate market trends, develop a market plan, and set goals.
• Manages, communicates, and coordinates purchases and logistics.
• Records and inputs daily hedging activity and assists with ensuring all Premier Cooperative grain locations are properly hedged.
• Negotiates directly with farmers and other sellers of grain to purchase grain
• Grain harvest operations
