Horse Farm Worker/Cleaner

Job Description

Small hunter/jumper farm looking for one person to help one to three mornings a week: Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Two people could split the days as well. Reliable, hard-working person with reliable transportation a must! Duties include cleaning and bedding 13-16 stalls, setting up hay, water, sweeping, etc. Takes approximately four hours to five hours depending on responsibilities; start time either 6:30 or 8:00am.

If you have experience with horses, more hours are available feeding, turning out, acting as a groom, etc.
Qualifications:
– Previous experience in a farm or agricultural required
– Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor
– Knowledge of animal handling and care practices. More hours available with prior horse experience.
– Familiarity with operating equipment such as tractors is a plus

Pay: $14.00 – $17.00 per hour
