Livestock Handler in Jones, MI

“`Duties“`
– Drive around to Hog Barns and check pigs
– Work with livestock when necessary
– Various odd farms jobs
– Run Machinery
– seasonal workload sping/fall – increased hours
– Maintain a clean work truck

“`Skills“`
– Experience in animals preferred but not required
– Ability to work in dusty environment
– Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance a plus
– Proficiency in handling animals safely and responsibly
– Maintain a driver’s license and driving record
– Ability to operate power tools for various tasks

As a Livestock Handler, you will play a vital role in ensuring the farm is running well and our animals are fed and cared for appropriately. Your attention to detail, knowledge of crops, and ability to handle animals will contribute to the success of our farm. Please note that this position may require lifting heavy objects, standing for long periods of time, and working in various weather conditions. Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.

Pay: $15.00 – $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 – 65 per week
