Livestock Handler in Lodi, NY
Job Description
This position is responsible for unloading and loading cattle trailers, ensuring cattle counts are correct, moving cattle from pen to pen, cleaning pens, feed and water troughs, and other duties as assigned.
Handler will also operate machinery such as tractors and bedding chopper.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITY:
Transfer Cattle from Pen to Pen
Clean and Sanitize Cattle Yard
Feed Cattle
Operate Heavy Equipment
MUST be able to work Weekends/Holidays and Overtime as needed
Education and/or Experience
Previous livestock handling experience preferred but not required.
