Milker / Farm Hand in Chadwick, IL

Scidmore Dairy, LLC is a family dairy farm milking about 320 cows and is looking to fill milker positions. As an important team member, you will be milking the cows and other necessary duties such as bringing in cows, cleaning, and rinsing down the parlor area. Other duties may include feeding calves. Milking shift is 6:30pm-2am Shift is 5-6 days per week with 1-2 days off.

Requirements:

• Experience in a milking parlor is helpful, but would be willing to train.
• Follow milking routines to ensure maximum production of milk in each cow.
• Identify Mastitis and properly sort and milk out affected cows, willing to train.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Dependability is a must

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 – $15.00 per hour
