Second Spring Farm is a certified organic farm growing approximately 40 acres of fruits and vegetables for sale at farmers markets, grocery stores, and restaurants in the Traverse City area.
Positions are available for both outdoor farm work and indoor work in our washing/packing facility as well as working at farmers markets. Employees may also participate in all aspects of the farm if they wish. Full and part time positions are available. There are also management and crew leader positions available for qualified individuals.
Work begins in mid to late April and ends in early December. Applicants are asked to commit to work the full season.
Applicants should possess the following attributes; willingness to work outside in all types of weather, good communication skills and work ethic, a positive can-do attitude, and an awareness of how to do physical work effectively and efficiently.
