We are looking for a Farm Worker to join our team and help with the daily operations of our farm. The successful candidate will be responsible for planting, harvesting, and maintaining crops, as well as caring for livestock. This position requires a hardworking individual or couple with an eye for detail and a passion for agriculture. We are looking for someone who is willing to work long hours in all weather conditions and is able to lift heavy objects. Housing on the farm is provided.
Responsibilities:
- Operate farm equipment and machinery.
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on farm equipment and machinery.
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest crops.
- Maintain farm records and accounts.
- Monitor crop health and pest infestations.
- Handle livestock in a safe and humane manner.
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on farm buildings.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $8.00 – $10.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Gravel Switch, KY 40328: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- Farming: 1 year (Preferred)
