- Drive Precision Farming technologies adoption on AGCO equipment within the territory and for key accounts through business planning, tactics consultation, and training
- Grow aftermarket and retrofit Precision Farming technologies sales by offering best available Fuse and partner solutions
- Develop AGCO dealer’s Precision Farming capability to increase equipment market share growth and customer satisfaction
- Support Precision Farming customer events, trade shows, training, and equipment demonstration alongside AGCO dealers
- Provide product ideas and feedback to Product Management and Engineering based on understanding of customer needs, competitive and industry landscape

The AGCO Marketing Division has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Precision Farming Specialist to join its team in delivering extraordinary results. 30-50% travel expected. This is a role with growth potential and developmental opportunities.
The Precision Farming Specialist II is a remote, field-based position. This team member will contribute to our equipment market share and technology revenue growth through business development, channel development, and customer development related to AGCO’s integrated Smart Farming technologies and partner solutions.
This role is part of the Precision Ag and Digital organization at AGCO, which is responsible for connecting the entire crop cycle – from enterprise planning to planting, crop care, harvesting, and grain storage, providing mixed-fleet farming operations, improved access to their farm data to make more informed business decisions, and resulting in enhanced productivity and profitability.
The incumbent need about the Precision Ag industry and passionate about using technologies to help professional farmers feed the world.
What you will bring:
- Experience with AGCO Fuse Technologies
- Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint in order to present complex technologies to dealers and customers
- Effective communication skills from senior management to technicians to customers
- Farming background and experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and data analysis
A plus if you have:
- Technical, associate, or bachelor’s degree required – agriculture and engineering related degree preferred
- Understanding of farming practices and precision farming technologies
- Minimum 3 years of experience supporting and/or selling Precision Ag technology
- Effective communicator able to explain technology value proposition in terms of agronomic benefits to the farmers
- Ability to influence stakeholders and customers toward consensus and commitment, sales experience a plus
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 for presentation and data analysis
- Willingness to relocate and live within territory or area of responsibility
- Ability to work with minimal direct supervision
- 30-50% travel for dealer and customer meeting, training, and events
