Farmers’ Implement is looking for a Precision Farming Specialist to facilitate the retail sales and support of precision farming products at our Allenton and Columbus, WI locations. This position is responsible for product training, demonstrations, application support, product configuration, and customer presentations of all technology-related components.

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of the sales process and dynamics, and also superb interpersonal skills. Previous experience in a sales role is an advantage.

Sales Representative Responsibilities:

· Assist sales department in pricing Precision Farming components needed for equipment sales.

· Coordinate and support displays at local shows, fairs, or trade shows.

· Develop sales contracts and complete paperwork within assigned guidelines.

· Document all customer and sales activity in dealer CRM database.

· Provide product expertise during demonstrations or other phases of the sale process.

· Communicate regularly with customers to ensure their satisfaction and understanding of the Precision Farming options purchased or to be purchased.

· Handle all customer questions, requests, complaints, and needs in a positive, timely manner.

· Track all PF inventory and report any issues to parts manager immediately.

· Complete the intake of orders from customers in person or by phone.

· Manage and order annual RTK subscriptions for customers and following up to make sure they still need them.

· Order appropriate components, receive them in with parts personnel, and invoice customers.

· Perform and work with the customer involving the installation, setup and operation of PF systems including GPS receivers, displays, and related components.

· Ensure compliance with training, tooling, personnel, and other requirements related to Precision Farming and other technology components.

· Deliver sales and product training initiatives to customers and staff.

· Create manuals and reference lists for parts personnel and technicians to use.

Sales Representative Requirements:

· 2+ years of experience in precision farming technology sales, support, and development.

· Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.

· Ability to perform general mathematical calculations.

· Highly self-motivated and directed.

· Exceptional customer service orientation.

· Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, or related field.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.

· Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.

· Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

· Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
