This position is eligible for a flexible work schedule arrangement at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.
Your Responsibilities
As a Product Verification & Validation Engineer – Harvest Systems PV&V for John Deere Harvester Worldwide Product Development Center located in Silvis, IL, you will…
Develop system level PV&V plans to verify that the harvesting solution meets requirements and validate that the requirements meet customer needs.
Lead test sites and execute field and lab tests – convey results, conclusions, and recommendations.
Lead projects to develop new and innovate test equipment, methods and processes. Document those new methods and processes.
Work closely and align on test equipment/methods as well as test plans with combine module design/PV&V, 808 shop technicians, and worldwide PV&V teams.

What Skills You Need
Field testing experience
General understanding of combine machine function
Experience with collecting and analyzing data
Strong problem-solving skills
Hands on experience with operation and maintenance of farm equipment
Strong communication skills experience working cross functionally
What Makes You Stand Out
Combine/front end equipment field testing experience
Experience developing new test equipment and methods
Creo 3D modeling skills and design experience
Experience collecting data with EDAQ
Experience using Vision system
PV&V planning experience
Education
Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
B.S. in Agricultural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
