Responsibilities:
– Oversee and manage daily operations on the farm, including animal care, crop production, and maintenance of farm equipment.
– Coordinate and assign tasks to farm workers to ensure efficient and timely completion of work.
– Monitor and maintain the health and well-being of animals, including feeding, watering, and administering medication as needed.
– Operate heavy equipment and power tools for various farming tasks such as plowing, planting, harvesting, and irrigation.
– Maintain and repair farm machinery to ensure proper functioning and safety.
– Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
– Keep accurate records of farm activities, including inventory, production yields, and animal health records.
Requirements:
– Previous experience in a similar role or in a leadership position on a farm.
– Strong knowledge of farming practices, including animal husbandry, crop production, and equipment operation.
– Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on farm machinery.
– Ability to effectively communicate with team members and provide clear instructions.
– Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
– Attention to detail to ensure the proper care of animals and maintenance of equipment.
– Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Pay: $31.00 – $32.00 per hour
