The Ranch Foreman is responsible for supporting the ranch manager in daily ranch functions. This includes, but is not limited to, working with both livestock & other ranch staff. The foreman will be tasked with directing & leading other ranch employees & ranch functions per the ranch managers orders. The position is diverse and may vary on a daily basis. The Ranch Foreman should be skilled in operating a tractor, baler, swather, pulling/hooking up various types of a trailers. They should also be proficient in the ability to maintain & fix fences, as well as be familiar with the tools required to do so. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundational understanding of working with, doctoring, managing, & keeping detailed records on all livestock involved in the ranch operation. The ideal candidate would be a proficient horseman – able to rope & ride in rough terrain to check the herds (this is preferred, not required). This position requires the ability to work in all types of inclement and extreme weather conditions, at all hours of the day (dependent on the season. i.e., calving, haying, etc.). The ideal candidate should have a self-starting attitude, & be comfortable working independently, as well as part of a team. We offer competitive pay, 401-K, & insurance.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
Must possess a valid Drivers License
Must be willing and able to work outside in all weather conditions and noisy environments; Must have the ability to use hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, moving materials and manipulating things.
Requires ability for sitting, standing, walking, lifting heavy materials, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing stairs & ladders, balancing, stooping, kneeling, repeated bends, crawling, reaching high and low; This is a Physically demanding position.
Must be willing and able to work as needed on a 24/7 basis.
