FTW Outfitters, LLC is located in the escarpment valleys of the Nueces River. Positioned sixteen miles from Rocksprings, TX and nine miles from Barksdale, TX, the Ranch is situated just off of Ranch Road 335 in the southwest region of the Texas Hill Country.
Ranch Hand Needed: This position requires on-site support at FTW Ranch (Barksdale, TX) as guest services and support. This position is for employees willing to commute to the Ranch for work on Thursdays through Sundays and work up to 10-hour shifts. Lodging and meals are provided during work days. Candidates must have alternative living arrangements for non-work days (Mondays through Wednesdays).
Pay is based on experience.
What you’ll be doing:
- Assist with maintenance and management of water development on the ranch
- Predator control of feral hogs and coyotes
- Clean up and beautification of ranch
- Application of herbicides to manage habitat, fencerows, and water traps
- Maintenance and upkeep of ranch equipment, vehicles, and facilities
- Heavy equipment operation and maintenance (tractors, skid steers, backhoe’s)
- Fence construction, repair, and maintenance
- Assist with any and other ranch activities as assigned by ranch manager to aid in the development and startup process of ranching and wildlife operation
- Ability to be available 24 hours per day (on call for questions, emergencies, etc.).
- Maintains employee confidence and protects company assets, including intellectual property, by keeping information confidential.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 – $18.00 per hour
