Ranch Hand

Peaceful Valley Donkey Rescue, the world’s largest donkey rescue, is a non profit company, in the business of rescuing, rehabbing and adopting out donkeys from around the country. We are looking to add a dependable ranch hand to our crew in San Angelo, TX. You will be encountering and interacting with equine daily. No experience is necessary and you will be trained on the job. Work hours are Monday – Friday 7am-3pm with some occasional weekends.

This job requires working outdoors in all conditions. We do offer on the job training.

Qualifications:

• You will be responsible for feeding and cleaning
• General ranch maintenance
• Will assist with a variety of routine donkey care tasks such as:
• Worming
• Vaccinating
• Hoof trimming
• You will be required to lift 65 + pounds daily.
• We need a team player who is flexible and willing to make a hand at any task given.
• Some weekend work will be required.
• Tractor and skid steer experience is a plus.
• You must pass a drug test.
